My name is Vanessa Koop
As a Newport Beach native and double alumna of the University of Arizona, I’m passionate about all things marketing, retail, and creative design. I hold a Master’s in Marketing and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and my experience spans digital content, corporate communications, and retail buying. Over the past few years, I have developed marketing materials, led social media and recruitment initiatives, organized events, and collaborated across teams. Having worked across both retail and marketing spaces, I am excited to pursue opportunities that allow me to continue growing at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and consumer-focused decision-making.

Press Release for the Rain Bird Corporation
As a Corporate Marketing and Communications intern at the Rain Bird Corporation, I was tasked with creating various internal and external facing marketing materials. This is an example of a press release I wrote, which is live on the Rain Bird website, describing the new Amazon Store of one of Rain Bird's acquisitions.
Podcast Proposal & Blog for Digital Marketing Course
For my final project in MKTG 555E, a master's level marketing course covering SEO, social media management, UX and UI design, etc., I created a podcast proposal and blog, displaying all of my coursework knowledge from the semester. The proposal integrates consumer research, creative design, and an actionable plan to create a semester long podcast run by marketing students at the Eller College of Management, while the blog showcases a creatively written and rebranded design for a blog by popular makeup brand Glossier.
Flyers for University of Arizona Wildcat Corps
Over the course of the 3 years that I served as the UA Wildcat Corps Team Coordinator, I was responsible for running our social media accounts, hosting member events, and creating recruitment materials. Before are a few samples of promotional flyers I created for events, hiring, and more!
Fact Sheet & White Paper for Attivo ERP
During my Summer 2023 marketing internship with Attivo ERP, I designed graphic materials, including a fact sheet for a new Tipalti-SAP Business One integration. I created the layout in Canva and collaborated with the CEO and marketing manager on the content. Later, I developed a white paper template for the company with a freelance writer. Management favored both projects, and the fact sheet was featured at a trade show to attract and inform potential customers!
